Castro Urdiales has some amazing restaurants, great photograph spots and even hotels where you can stay the night! Here are some of top things to do on your visit to Castro Urdiales.

Spend your time exploring the beaches and fishing village. The area has a lot of history to see as well, with Roman ruins and ancient buildings found all over the town.

The people of Castro Urdiales are very accepting and welcoming to visitors, so don't be afraid to ask for help with anything you need!

What are the top things to do in Castro Urdiales?

Castro Urdiales has a very good climate, which is well-suited to the needs of many people.

Castro Urdiales is a city that is well-known for its thermal waters and beaches. It also has an amazing scenery with mountains and forests.

Castillo y Faro de Santa Ana

The Castle of Santa Ana was constructed in 1163. It's classic military architecture style served as a defense for the town to keep it safe from attacks coming by sea, but later became more than just this when they added their majestic lighthouse which first used around 1853!

Hermitage of Santa Ana

The Hermitage of Santa Ana is a wonderful example that there are many things hidden in this world - even if you think they're gone. It sits atop an outcrop looking over the waves, with its current construction dating back to 1941 but constructed on top some much older buildings which date all way up until before medieval times!

Stroll around the Parque de La Barrera

The stunning views of the city are not only available from up high, but also on ground level. There's a park called Parque de La Barrera with vast green spaces and fountains that make it an ideal spot for strolling around or sunbathing all day long!

Church of Santa Maria de la Asunción

Salute the Signorina! The Church of Santa Maria de la Asunción is a place where you can marvel at its beauty, inside and out.

The architecture holds up well over time while still holding onto that magical feel which makes it one-ofa kind in every way possible--from intricately designed stained glass windows depicting scenes from Christ’s life or important moments in Catholic history such as Saintgray's coronation as King Ferdinand VII; right down to even how they light up your night with candlelit favors when visiting during Christmas season (which happens about once every six months).

When you enter the doors of this huge gothic church, it's impossible not to be impressed by its beauty. The structure stands at center with green parkland surrounding and hills framing from every side making for picturesque scenery that will never get old even if I saw them a million times over!

Puente Medieval de Castro Urdiales

The Puente Medieval de Castro Urdiales is a beautiful medieval bridge that connects the two sides of Castro Urdiales. The bridge was built in the 12th century and has been preserved well over time. The bridge is a great place to take photos and enjoy the views of Castro Urdiales. Midway across the medieval bridge, you can still make out its ogival arch. Built to provide better access for pilgrims heading towards Santa Ana Hermitage, construction dates back centuries ago.

Plaza Del Ayuntamiento

One of the best places to see the Castro Urdiales scenery is from the Plaza Del Ayuntamiento. The plaza is located in the heart of Castro Urdiales and is surrounded by beautiful buildings.

The best time to visit the plaza is in the morning when the sun is shining and the birds are singing. There are many cafes and restaurants around the plaza, so it's a great place to go for a coffee or a meal. The plaza is also a great place to take photos.

One of my favourite things to do at the plaza is to sit and people watch. Castro Urdiales has a very lively community so there's always something going on in the plaza!

Playa de la Arena, Castro Urdiales

There's something about surfing that just makes you feel alive. Maybe it's the rush of the waves, or the feeling of being one with the water, but surfing is definitely a sport that's worth trying at least once in your life. And what better place to do it than Castro Urdiales, Spain?

Playa de la Arena is a great spot for surfing. The waves are consistent and there's plenty of space to ride them. The beach is also well-known for its beautiful views.

If you're new to surfing, don't worry. There are plenty of surf schools in Castro Urdiales that can teach you the basics. Or if you're feeling adventurous, you can always try learning!

Castro Urdiales is a charming town in the north of Spain that's worth visiting for its beautiful architecture, stunning views, and delicious food. One of the best ways to explore Castro Urdiales is by walking along Avenida de la Constitución, which is the main street in the town.

Avenida de la Constitución is lined with beautiful buildings, including the town hall and the church of Santa Maria de la Asunción. The street is also home to many cafes and restaurants, which are a great place to eat or have a coffee.

Ostende Beach

If you fancy a spot of sunbathing or just need to get away from it all, then head down the coast and explore this Blue Flag beach. With dark golden sand stretching for 900 meters and great facilities, there’s plenty of room in every direction - make sure not miss out on this beautiful destination!

Check out Laredo

Further west, near the village of Laredo, you’ll find even more beaches. The vast Playa de Oriñón is one of the most beautiful beaches in all Spain. With its crystal-clear water, white sand beach and breathtaking views it's hard not be drawn into this magical spot! The wilder but just as gorgeous Sonabia Beach has some amazing rock formations that you can explore while there are still plenty left standing after last night’s party (or afternoon).
